What is Allowed Inside

To ensure a safe, family-friendly celebration of our culinary heritage and kompa rhythms, all guests must pass through security. Please review our entry guidelines before arriving.

Allowed Items

Small personal bags, blankets, lawn chairs, and factory-sealed water bottles are permitted. We encourage bringing sunscreen and hats for the beautiful tropical weather.

Prohibited Items

No outside food, coolers, professional recording equipment, or weapons are permitted. Authentic food and beverages are widely available from our local Haitian vendors inside.

Taste of Haiti Food Festival

Festival Guidelines & Policies – Permitted Items to guarantee a secure and enjoyable experience for all, the following items are allowed inside the festival area: Permitted Items small bags, purses, diaper bags, and transparent bags (subject to security checks) Mobile phones and battery packs personal cameras and video recording for private use empty reusable plastic water bottles for refilling at designated locations, baby strollers and wagons prescription medications in their original labeled packaging sunscreen and personal hygiene products mobility aids, wheelchairs, walkers, and other assistive devices service animals as per applicable regulations

Festival Guidelines All attendees must undergo bag checks at entry kindly dispose of waste in designated bins. Treat all guests, vendors, performers, volunteers, and staff with respect. Children should be under adult supervision at all times. Adhere to all instructions from festival personnel and security staff. Smoking or vaping is only allowed in specified smoking zones. Emergency exits and pathways must always remain unobstructed. Failure to follow festival regulations may lead to expulsion from the event without a refund.

All recovered items are safely logged at the main information booth near the entrance. Unclaimed items are securely held for fourteen days following the festival close.

Flavor of Haiti Food Festival Lost & Found Policy

Lost & Found Policy the Flavor of Haiti Food Festival helps guests recover lost belongings. Below are our Lost & Found procedures. Reporting a Lost Item if you lose an item during the festival: Visit the Information or Guest Services booth during event hours. Provide a detailed description of the item and when/where it was lost. Leave your contact information so we can reach you if the item is found.

Turning In Found Items: If you find lost property, please bring it to the Information or Guest Services booth.

Claiming Lost Property: To claim a recovered item, you may need to provide a description of the item. Show identifying characteristics. Present a valid photo ID for valuables. Items not verified may not be released.

Storage Period: Recovered items will be securely stored for 30 days. After that, unclaimed items may be disposed of valuable Items. Cash, cards, IDs, and electronics will be handled with care.

Liability: The Festival is not responsible for lost or damaged items. Efforts will be made to assist, but recovery is not guaranteed.
